We are excited to announce our Summer Science Homeschool Enrichment Program at Monarch!
This engaging 4-week program has been carefully designed by our supervising teacher, Ms.
Sapp, in collaboration with our clinical team to incorporate the foundational principles of both
Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech Therapy (ST) services. Lessons align with Florida
Science and Language Arts Standards and are adapted across four academic levels to support
students from Pre-K through 12th grade.
Weekly Topics
Week 1: Earth & Space Science / Earth's Structure
Week 2: Matter & Forces
Week 3: Energy & Magnets
Week 4: Life Cycles & Habitats
Program Schedule - July 7th through July 30th-
Twice weekly: Tuesdays and Thursdays (8 total sessions)
Session length: 60–120 minutes (based on grade level & group placement)
Interactive and visual instruction for all classes
Hands-on experiments and sensory-based learning experiences
Activities tailored to each student's skill level to provide an appropriate challenge while promoting success and confidence in their abilities
Celebrate Science Party
At the conclusion of the program, students will participate in a special "Celebrate Science" Party, featuring exciting group experiments and science-based activities to showcase what they have learned throughout the summer. Feel free to come dressed as a scientist for this event!
Scheduling Information
We have worked diligently to ensure that participation in this program will not disrupt scheduled OT or ST services. If you have any questions or concerns regarding scheduling, Julie and Jenn are happy to assist.
